HOW TO INSTALL CAP RIVETS

1. Mark leather with sharp point or marker.

 

2. Drill or punch holes with leather punch (@ 3/16")

 

3. Line engraved plate up with holes in leather.
Insert front (long) rivet. Snap cap onto back.

 

4. Place front of leather with plate face down on a cloth-covered hard surface.
Tap back (cap) firmly with hammer.
This will set rivet permanently.
